Information We Collect About You

Begandborrow.com requests and collects personal information from our customers to deliver the products and services you request and to help improve your shopping experience. Begandborrowapparel.com stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success these programs. Your membership name, email, or other information may also be displayed when you post comments or upload images throughout the Site. Begandborrowapparel.com is not responsible for the personal information users select to disclose in these forums. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.

 Social Media Features and Widgets

Our Web site includes Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button and Widgets, such as the Share this button or interactive mini-programs that run on our site. These Features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the Feature to function properly. Social Media Features and Widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Single Sign-On

You can access, update, or change your personal information and communication preferences by signing into your Beg and Borrow membership page and modifying your preferences at your discretion. You may opt out of our continuing to share your information with third parties for their own marketing or business purposes, including third party catalog co-op’s, for their own marketing purposes by contacting us at monte@Begandborrowapparel.com.

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active, to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Delete My Personal Information:  You have the right to ask that we delete your personal information.  Once we receive a request, we will delete the personal information (to the extent required by law) we hold about you as of the date of your request from our records and direct any service providers to do the same.  In some cases, deletion may be accomplished through de-identification of the information.  If you choose to delete your personal information, you may not be able to use certain website or in-store functions that require your personal information to operate. Deleting your personal information will not cancel memberships you have purchased.

 

  1. Stop Selling My Personal Information:  We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. However, under some circumstances a transfer of personal information to a third party, or within our Walmart family of companies, without monetary consideration may be considered a “sale” under California law. For purposes of California law, all categories of personal information are transferred to third parties or within our family of companies.  Such transfers may be considered a sale.  If you submit a request to stop selling your personal information, we will stop making such transfers. If you are a California resident, to opt-out of the sale of your personal information, click “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” at the bottom of our home page to submit your request.

 

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.  This generally means we will not deny you goods or services, charge different prices or rates, provide a different level of service or quality of goods, or suggest that you might receive a different price or level of quality for goods.  Please know, if you ask us to delete or stop selling your data, it may impact your experience with us, and you may not be able to participate in certain programs or membership services which require usage of your personal information to function.

Your California Privacy Rights - Shine the Light

Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, California residents who provide personal information in obtaining products or services for personal, family, or household use are entitled to request and obtain from us once a calendar year information about the customer information we shared, if any, with other businesses for their own direct marketing uses. If applicable, this information would include the categories of customer information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared customer information for the immediately prior calendar year (e.g. requests made in 2020 will receive information regarding 2019 sharing activities).
